Community Outreach

3rd Day Worship Center’s Outreach Ministry actively seeks to be the hands, feet, eyes, mouth, and ears outside the four walls of their weekly services…

As Vice-president of the Board of Directors for the Lehigh County Conference of Churches, Pastor Charles Olmeda hears and sees first-hand the needs that affect our city on a daily basis. “The church – the body of Christ – must understand that the only way to truly demonstrate the love, passion, and forgiveness of Jesus Christ to a hurting world is to actively go beyond the four walls of Sunday worship and proactively serve as a conduit of hope,” says Pastor Charles. “Sunday worship and weekly activities are wonderful and certainly essential to the vitality of the ‘body,’ but we can’t always wait for them to come to us, we have to go to them.”

In addition to the many ministries that 3rd Day offers, such as Fragile Souls and Touch of Hope and community programs such as A.M.E.N., we partner with many organizations in their efforts to reach a hurting world.

Call or write us to join our monthly meal outreach to Daybreak and help put a smile on dozens of people that come to receive a meal. During this time you will be able to:

  • Help cook nutritious meals.
  • Help serve these meals to the many people that come to Daybreak.
  • Mingle and hold conversations with the many people that come and long for a smile, voices of hope, or simply a caring person that is willing to listen.
  • Donate items for the meal to be served.

Donations are also welcomed to help support the daily expenses and food necessities for the Daybreak meals. Donations made for this  outreach will go directly to Daybreak in its entirety.
